2020 E-Learning Information  (3/28/20)

If you have not signed up for our Google Classroom, please do so as soon as possible. You should have received and invitation to the site in a recent email.

Please email me if you need to receive another invitation.  BIG thanks to the many of you who completed notes and homework from 9.1 (and even beyond) so I could get a feel for how this will work. That was very helpful.

This will dramatically change the way this course runs, but it will not effect the lessons.  At this time, this website now is E-Learning ready through Section 9.5.  Each of these sections contain downloadable Notes and Homework with accompanying videos for all of the Notes and most, if not all, of the Homework problems. I will be working on a plan for quizzes and tests over this next week.

I will not pretend to assume that this will replace the face to face lessons that we are used to.  But, I strongly believe that if a student is dilligent in doing the day to day work that is assigned, that you will put yourself in a good place to expect to succeed in Calculus and beyond.

HOWEVER, this will take the kind of dicsipline on your part that is not common in a typical high school student.  BUT,  I do not believe even one of you aspires to be the "typical" high school student.  You are amongst the finest students at one of the finest schools in the state!

Perhaps the silver lining for you in the COVID-19 Pandemic, is that YOU now have a chance to prove to yourself that you are, or can be, a self driven learner and achiever.  And that will become the most important aspect of your education at Hononegah.

YOU'VE GOT THIS!!!!
